Acidic or Alkaline Foods : Ph Balance for Healthy Life

Acidic or Alkaline Foods : Ph Balance for Healthy Life

All foods can be classified into three groups: neutral, acidic end alkaline foods. Ideally, our body should be slightly alkaline, but modern lifestyle and nutrition make our blood and body acidic, which again leads to a state of imbalance and disease.

Blood pH of human should be moderately alkaline ( 7.35 – 7.45 ).

A pH of 7.0 is neutral.
A pH below 7.0 is acidic
A pH above 7.0 is alkaline

To preserve health, the diet should be include 60% alkaline foods and 40% acid forming foods. To bring back health, the diet should be include 80% alkaline forming foods and 20% acid forming foods.

Nutrition is based on the best ingredients that will cause neither excessive alkalinity nor excessive acidity of the body. If the meal includes extremely alkaline or acidic foods , they need to be balanced, and their frequent consumption it is not recommended.
